Hello. Bavarian here. Pretzels don´t come with mustard. Only tourists buy (and maybe eat) pretzles with mustard. Don´t know where this myth comes from. Btw: great job. It seems you´re doing your traveling a bit different. Spend time at a park, watching people, learning how to bake Apfelstrudel, soaking in lifestyle. It´s not uncommon for Munich people to go to work until 4 PM then buy a bottle of beer and enjoy the rest of the day in the English Garden... just as you did. But on a daily basis. Really many restaurants cook (meat and sauce...) from scratch. Not only the fancy expensive ones, but also many smaller restaurants on the country side. Just drive to a village and ask people for a basic traditional restaurant. (for sure there also are many restaurants that use some "powdered" sauce/gravy.

Hello. Nice video. I wonder, how is the highway condition from Vancouver to Banff during the winter season? I plan to visit Vancouver, Whistler and Banff on this year winter. I worry about the highway condition from Whistler to Banff in winter time. My car will be equipped with snow tire and we are from San Francisco to there. A long drive.

I'm an old Icelander that used the opportunity to re-discover my own country in 2020, during the first Covid lull when Iceland was virtually devoid of tourists. I rented a proper camper where I could stand upright (stooping is a pain at my age) and with all the amenities (kitchen, toilet, shower etc.) and, best of all, I could trundle into a camping site anytime I wanted, plug in my extension cord in and have a perfectly nice, warm night! Now, young people like Chad and Claire can take a lot of inconveniences in their stride (like having to stoop in the camper and being perpetually chilled), and some even relish these minor "hardships", but I am around half a century past that resilient age!

So exciting you guys!! Everyone who gets to travel with you is so lucky! And I just love that you're going back to a place that Claire knows so well.. that will make it so personal and special for everyone :)

Wonderful idea to host a trip and beautifully thought out itinerary. I love Taiwan and have been there many times. There is so much to see and do and the food is out of this world. I have no doubt you guys will be amazing hosts and your guests will love the trip!
